APPLY FOR YOUR TAX FILE NUMBER

To legally work in Australia, you have to obtain a Tax File Number (TFN).

You can use our address to receive your TFN, however, when entering your address, the details should look the same as below.  Make careful note of the suburb 'Potts Point' (not 'Kings Cross')

Depending on how busy the Tax Office is, your application should take no longer than 3 weeks.  If you get the timing right, your TFN should be waiting for you in our post when you arrive, then you can get on with working straight away!!

You can also apply for your TFN in person at the Australian Tax Office Shopfront. 

You'll need to take your passport, and have the address to send the number to.
